  The exam fee covers a testing seat for the CPTD exam, exam score report, and a CPTD certificate and lapel pin once the credential is achieved. Prep courses and materials are optional and not included in the exam fee.

CPTD exams are held every other month, starting in February. Registration deadlines are 30 days prior to the start of an exam window. A testing window is selected at the time of application. Changes after the application require approval and a Window Transfer fee of $375.
