You've earned the credential. Validate this accomplishment with a digital badge.
The APTD and CPTD credentials validate the knowledge and skills you have acquired. Your digital badge is a simple way to share verified proof of your ATD CI certification across a variety of platforms.
A digital badge is an image linked to verifiable details about your certification. It is used in email signatures, personal websites, and social media sites, as well as on electronic copies of resumes. ATD CI certificants use a digital badge to convey to employers, potential employers, and interested parties that they have the skills required to earn and maintain their APTD or CPTD certification.
Share your badge on LinkedIn, Facebook, X (formerly Twitter), WhatsApp, in an email signature, or embed it in a website.

A Digital badge adheres to an open standard being led by the Mozilla Foundation for recognizing and validating learning. It is a secure, web-enabled credential that contains real-time verifiable information employers can use to evaluate an individual's qualifications.
Representing your skills as a badge gives you a way to share your abilities online in a way that is simple, trusted, and can be easily verified in real time. Badges provide employers and peers concrete evidence of what you had to do to earn your credential and what you’re now capable of.
Your APTD or CPTD credential is earned only after receiving a passing score on the APTD or CPTD certification exam. Digital badges are a web-enabled, digital representation of that certification, enriched with a standardized set of meta data that verify your achievement. You would be granted the digital badge after completion of the certification exams.
We have partnered with Credly to translate the knowledge and skills you’ve demonstrated into a badge, issued and managed through the company’s Acclaim platform. The technology Credly uses on its Acclaim platform is based on the Open Badge Standards maintained by IMS Global. This enables you to manage, share, and verify your competencies digitally.
Credly is the end-to-end solution for issuing and managing digital credentials. Credly works with credible organizations to provide digital credentials to individuals, worldwide.
Badges will be awarded upon successful completion of the APTD and CPTD certifications. If your certification is expired or has been revoked, you will not receive a badge. Likewise, when your certification expires, if you do not recertify, your badge will reflect that you are no longer certified.
You will receive an email notification from the Credly platform (admin@credly.com) with instructions for claiming your badge and setting up your account shortly after you have been notified of your successful certification.
Whitelist this email address to ensure smooth delivery of necessary setup and account notices. Check your spam folder as well.
You can easily configure your privacy settings in the Acclaim platform. You’re in complete control of your personal information. You can also choose not to claim your badge at all.
The user (you) must give permission for the bridge between the social media site and Acclaim to exist, but at no time will Acclaim post without an action being initiated by the user. Any activity taken on a user's behalf must first be initiated by them, otherwise the social platform will turn off Acclaim's access. Acclaim will never do anything beyond post a badge for a user (after it is requested), but social media sites only provide these standard permission screens and do not allow specific actions to be omitted.
If you are still not comfortable establishing this link, we certainly understand. You can still share your badge and accomplishment by using the public URL and posting right into your social media account as a status update or tweet.
No. This is a service we provide to you, at no cost.
While badges are simply digital image files, they are uniquely linked to data hosted on Credly’s Acclaim platform. This link to verified data makes them more reliable and secure than a paper-based certificate. It also eliminates the possibility of anyone claiming your credential and your associated identity.
You can share your badge directly from the Acclaim platform to LinkedIn, Twitter, WhatsApp, and Facebook; over email; or embedded in a website, digital resume, or in your email signature.
